The Story of Sailor Deathstorm

...and so it begins...

Julianna had been training her whole life, a full 14 years for this moment.  She had been trained in the art of calligraphy, tea ceremonies, singing and playing many instruments.  She had learned to coordinate and layer her clothing and make her face just right. But she was also lucky for her teacher believed that she should also be well versed in how to defend herself. So, between her culture lessons, she also learned to use many common weapons for women.  She was well versed in the use of many different styles of daggers and knives and the art of hiding them on your body. She could use a fan and chopsticks as weapons and she knew all the common and not so common poisons, their symptoms and cures; if they existed.  And now all of this would pay off today. It would be her first performance as a Geisha.  Today she would prove that she was ready for the rest of her life.

As she entered the room she scanned the crowd as she was taught. Trying to judge their tastes and energy level in order to pick the perfect piece to perform. As she scanned a woman caught her eye. There was something quite extraordinary about her. Besides the large black crow sitting on her shoulder, though no one else seemed to notice it. She had strikingly grey eyes, with long black hair to her waist.  She seemed slightly out of place here.  Once Julianna served the tea with practiced precision, she settled down in the middle of the room and prepared to play one of her practiced pieces.  But as she played it was no longer one of her songs.  Somehow the song had transformed into a story she had never heard before.

"The daughter of death she sat alone, her pale skin and grey eyes shone. Drawn into darkness with no fear, she saw no happiness felt no cheer.  Though love would scorn and life would mock, this girl she cared and with strength she fought. Doomed to live a life apart, ever repeating it winthin her heart." Julianna pauses making eye contact with the black haired girl.

"Suddenly within the dark, a light did shine and hit its mark. This time through things might change. This time through her life she reigned"

Everyone loved the song and she received many compliments on it. However, when she looked for the girl with the crow she was gone.

Later, on that evening she walked through one of the gardens and reflected on the evening. As she walked she felt someone or something following her. But as she looked around she couldn't find anything. Until she caught a glimpse of white stripes in the dark...
